This year's creative writing calendar has come and gone, and even though I couldn't participate until the end I had a lot of fun.

What about you? How did everyone else feel about this calendar?

Personally, I thought there were a few too many "scene writing" tasks in it. I would definitely have appreciated a few more "poem writing" tasks. But I'm not ( Read more... )

Task: Brainstorm at least 15 action phrases that you could use when writing about a hand-to-hand fight, e.g. "He dug a vicious blow to the robber's ribs." If you can't come up with any, read through some stories for ideas.

Okay, so I freely admit that not all of my sentences deal with hand-to-hand combat.... I hope it's still okay. *sigh*

Hey, everyone. You've been so productive lately, I feel kind of ashamed that I'm writing so few things. But I honestly can't keep up anymore. At least I have managed to achieve my goal of answering more tasks than I did for the last calendar. So, that's something. :-)

I don't think I can keep up anymore. What with working full time now, I hardly find the time to write - and in the evenings I'm just to tired. This one acrostic took me a whole hour to write! And my brain feels so empty, no self-resp4ecting zombie would want it... *sigh*
